We have participated in the training, understand the measures required to mitigate risk, and possess the know-how to implement them. Most importantly, we understand the fire cycle and know what to expect during wildfire season.
We have watched the science of wildfire risk assessment and reduction develop over the years and seen some significant innovations. However, the skill and knowledge to deliver the service are primarily located in the public sector or private forestry businesses.
