Dean Sinclair is a dedicated and experienced wildfire mitigation specialist, specializing in fire risk assessment and FireSmart planning. With over 25 years of experience in the forestry industry Dean brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to his craft.
As a Registered Professional Forester, Dean has worked on numerous projects throughout his career, ranging from sustainable forest management to wildfire prevention and mitigation. He has an understanding of forest ecosystems, landscape dynamics, and the principles of fire behavior. Dean is also a Local FireSmart Representative.
In addition to his forestry expertise, Dean is a Canadian Registered Safety Professional with 12 years of experience in safety management. His proficiency in this area ensures that his fire risk reduction plans not only protect against wildfires but also prioritize the safety of individuals and communities.
Dean founded SparkProof with the mission of creating safer spaces for property owners in the Thompson and Okanagan regions. He works closely with clients to assess risks, develop customized plans, and implement effective fire risk reduction strategies.
